I am a new member who in the past found usefull information. Now it is my turn to pass on to others what I have found.
EFK Fire Dragon makes a Stainless Steel captive guide rod and spring for Beretta 90-two and 92A1. The fit is pefect and I waited to post this until after a trip to the range which proved it to work with out any problems.
The person who owns the company owns and shoots Beretta's and tests the products before offered for sale. I talked to him before I placed my order.

To SHIPWRECK from past post's I know you own several Beretta's and had past problems with after market guide rods these work.
Cost for the standard was $29 + shipping.

They have steel guide rods for all other 92's as well and PX4's:)

Aloha... Thanks for the info.

I knew of http://guiderod.com/ as being a source for them.

I do have two 92A1s. The standard 92A1 guiderod can be used if you add that small washer-type piece at the end of the regular guiderod. I do have one of those.

When it was time to change the recoil spring on my 92A1s, I figured I'd go in search of a steel one then. Beretta charges like close to $50 for the captibe 90-Two/92A1 guiderod assembly, which is insane.

Anyway - the steel guiderod you mention is much cheaper than the one at Guiderods.com
