Friend gave me a 92FS lower...lacked the
slide,
barrel,
locking block,
guide rod,
recoil spring.

Picked up a complete slide from RTG for 90 + ship, scored a threaded barrel from the local classifieds for 100.

Looked at the usual suspects for the small parts, Midwest Gun Works has a 3rd Gen 4pc kit which includes the Recoil Spring, Locking Block, Locking Block Plunger, and a Locking Block Pin for a total of 39.50 shipped.

Is this 3rd gen package the way to go?

Don't forget a Beretta "D" hammer spring, while you're ordering small parts. It reduces double-action trigger pull by quite a bit while retaining 100% reliability with all primers - it's the best and easiest mod you could ever do to a 92/M9.
