Beretta M9-22

FWIW, my father in law has a 92FS .22LR and it's been stellar. His was made by Umarex. I clean it when I can but often it goes quite a few rounds between baths. Though they field strip like a 9mm M9 internally there are differences such as barrel lock up / locking block.

Previous .22 conversions, in my experience, get mixed reviews. I had an Advantage Arms conversion for a G17, and never could get it to run reliably, even with CCIs. A Kimber-marketed conversion on my Gold Cup was finally made to work (by me); the magazines were dragging on the bottom of the slide.
So it's a great idea; hope they make it work.
