Saw and shot one of these for the first time today. I never knew these existed. Seemed like a really nice gun, liked the frame. Came home and checked it out on Gunbroker-holy cow! That's an expensive little 22! What's the buzz on these, are they worth it?

I've had one for several years with a couple of thousand rounds through it in casual range shooting. I use it with a red dot optic.

Great pistol, and like everything else I shoot, much more accurate than I am.
The major drawback, and its a big one, is the gross trigger overtravel after the trigger breaks. Since I don't shoot competitively, its not a big deal and I've gotten use to it. Some have modified their 87Ts with a mechanical stop to limit overtravel and apparently these mods work OK although they look like crap. Just haven't felt a need personally.

A local shop had a used one for $750 if I recall. I think I paid less than that for mine, new three or four years ago.

Sorry for the late add, but I have shot mine over 10,000 times. My shooting buddy has one just like it and is hot on my heals for rounds fired. He got his because he liked mine so much.

Accurate, reliable but yes the trigger is nasty overtravel. It is a fun, really fun gun to shoot.

Not cheap, but worth every penny.
