Beretta Storm Question

Here is a pic of my Storm setup. I have been using a Surefire G2 on a Fobus mount. I mounted it on the left side so I could use my thumb to activate the light. It's very handy like this for me.

I also threw my Billennium in there for the family pic.

I went with the Oko having heard that it is a lot easier to adjust than the C-more. The base sight is kind of fragile, hence my purchase of the steel shroud. One of the things I liked immediately upon taking it out of the box is the auxiliary sighting system. They put a small notch in the rear of the sight, along with a small post at the very bottom of the ring. Crude, but faster than trying to rip off the optical sight to use the Iron sights.

Of course I can find a lot of guns more worthy of an optical sight than a pistol caliber carbine.

Pat/.355 SigFan - for the uses I have in mind - I disagree. I am looking for a Home Defense long gun that my wife and I can both use that will not suffer the muzzle flash and deafening sound of a .223 touched off indoors.

Also - while it looks likely that the Inspection Service will be getting the Beretta Storm, it isn't a done deal yet. There is a lot of talk varying from replacing everything with the Storm to simply adding it to the inventory and replacing the MP-5s with UMPs. Given the fact that a relatively small number of inspectors get to carry the MP-5 (navy model), I think the Storm will fill a niche.
