I have a Taurus PT-100 (40 Cal pistol) My question is this....I am wanting to put Crimson Trace lasergrips on it. They make laser grips for Beretta 92, 96 models which appears to me that the grips look exactly like the grips on my Taurus. My question is if I purchase the Crimson Trace grips that are for the Beretta will it fit on my Taurus??? The screws in the grips look like they would match?

Furthermore when I look at Lasermax website it shows the same guide rod/laser for Full Size Beretta 92, Beretta 96, Beretta Vertec, Taurus PT92/99/100/101. This leads me to believe that the grips would match as well but when asked before at gun shops I have been told no? Any ideas or info on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!!!

The grips on a Beretta 92 and a Taurus PT92 have different spacing for the grip screws and are not a direct swap. Spacing is around around 3 3/8" between screws on the Beretta and 3-7/8" on the Taurus. The barrels, springs and guide rods will swap between the two. This should hold true for the 40 cal model also.

Thanks for the info guys! I appreciate it! Are the guide rod lasers any good by chance? I like the grips better because the laser comes on when the gun is gripped but they don't make them for Taurus......
