About a month ago I asked For ideas on converting a1201FP to a 1201F. Glad I asked and thanks for the help. I located a new in box 28" threaded barrel at Vintage Sporting. Pricey at 295.00 but doable. Then with an idea from another member, I called Beretta and talked to a tech. service asst. instead of the parts dept. 5 min. later, a new mag tube, spring, plug, and modified choke with wrench were on its way to my door for 80 bucks. I did have to drill a hole in the magazine for the mag cap locking spring, and supply a washer to cap the fore- end. But for under 400 bucks I have a dual purpose beretta autoload. The man at Vintage Sporting said this barrel was the only one like it he'd ever had, but that doesnt mean beretta wont I forgot to ask them that. Hey thanks again and pray for those geese!
