250CA1EA-AC06-4DAE-A6F5-749D4408AE3A.jpeg Recently acquired a Bergara Ridge SP in 308 Win. Typically I don’t share much about firearms until after ringing them out and verifying function, but I just am tickled to have this one, and look forward to seeing what loads it likes and site in after breaking in the barrel

18” barrel, threaded and free floated
308 Win
Trigger breaks cleanly and very light
Action is smooth
Black cerakote finish
Love the stock. Has a grippy feel

Plan to use this for boar and whitetail out to 300 yards and hope to suppress it in the future. It’s an ideal size for suppression in my opinion.

I recently purchased a B14 Ridge in 7mm-08 and with factory Hornady American Whitetail 139 grain Interlock ammo, it consistently shot sub-MOA 5-shot groups while breaking in according to the owner's manual. I can't wait to handload for it!

Good luck with yours...it sounds like a dandy!

Thanks, gringo! Sounds like you’ve got a dandy yourself! Hope mines as good as yours

I have a Bergara 308 that loves Norma Whitetail/Soft Point. I reload and struggle to come up with a better load for hunting. As a plus, it’s relatively inexpensive and you end up with Norma brass.

nothing at all wrong with their rifles.I bought an HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor last week and have been very impressed with it.Action is smooth, stock is great and it shoots real good. You'll like that one, and, yes,it's about ideal for a can.
