Had an odd malfunction that my gunsmith didn't fix for a month, because he couldn't figure it out. He solved it my sending my Bersa .380 Thunder elsewhere. I'm interested in what went wrong.
The pistol became double action only. Pulling the trigger would cock and fire it in the usual double action way, but no single action was possible. The hammer could not be locked back. Racking the slide, firing the pistol or pulling the hammer back by thumb would not latch it back.
My gunsmith never did find out what went wrong. Can you figure this out?
