Savage and Marlin, they will both be this amount or under, and they will both be wonderfully reliable, and accurate, the nef is as well, but if you shoot a lot, that single shot will begin to piss you off, especially since you have to move your whole rig, cheekweld, everything, every time you load a new cart. I really dont' think a cz is enough of an accuracy improvement to buy it for an additional 100 bucks, if you want assured jump in accuracy, get an Anschutz. i did, and it is the only 17 hmr I am now keeping, every other 17 I have is a mach2.
In case anyone is interested, I am selling my LEFT HAND, wood stocked, brand new Savage, and my brand new in box, Stevens 17 hmr, and brand new in box remmy 597 17hmr. They are unfired, it is just that after I got the Annie, I decided that was it, but of course, again, the Annie is a lot more dough.
To DZL HOG; on the remmies, you want the latest generation mags, and you want the guide rails pulled out, then refitted back in almost all the way to the end of the receiver. This will stop the jamming problems.
