Best 40 for ccw

Glock 23. I won't even entertain the idea of a 27. The 23 is just a little more difficult to conceal and for that extra effort you get 4 more rounds (over the standard 9 round mag).

I have an SW99 Compact in .40 but don't really care for it on the range. That means I'll practice with it less often.

Okay went to the local gun store again today. I shot the glock g27 again I really liked it it felt good also. I looked at the glock g23 they didn't have one I could shoot. I still didn't buy anything. I also looked at a couple of the other guns you guys have mentioned. But really like the glock and the price of 500.00. Is that what it should cost or is that high price tag. Is their any websites I can find them used for even cheaper.

$500 is a decent price, at least around here. Best price I can find around here is $479 and then I have to wait for a gunshow as the dealer who has that price is in Richmond and I don't feel like driving 2 hours. My favorite local dealer prices his 9mm, .40, and .357 Glocks at $489 and that's what I usually pay. So $500 isn't bad at all.

www.cdnninvestments.com. Look for the link on the main page that says "Download Latest Catalog." It's a .pdf file and quite large, but they usually have used 23s in there. Usually, they're 2nd generation guns. Doesn't make them any less desirable in my view (then again I tend to prefer 2nd generation). Ask if they have any factory refurbs also when you call (you will have to call, they won't even entertain the thought of using e-mail to discuss firearms transactions). Refurbs are the best deals and the refurbs come with a Glock factory warranty, just as the new guns. They also have the 3rd generation frame styles but you have to call for a price. My guess is that their brand new Glocks will be about the same after shipping and transfer fee as the $500 you cite. Used will probably save you $100-150. AND their shipping is a flat $10 rate.

I found a local gun shop that does police tradins for 359.99 on glock 23 trying to decide about the g27 500.00 new or used police tradin g23 for 359.99
