Add another for the Taurus PT-145. I can carry this 10+1 rounder in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster in a fair number of my cargo pants/shorts.

I have both the Kimber Ultra and the Springfield Ultra V10. I Like them equally. I have a slight preference for the Kimber which feels like it's got a 3 lb trigger. It's very smooth. The Springfield is slightly heavier so recoil is felt less. I have complete faith in both.

Either of these....the Colt first

Kahr PM45

At post #26 I think this makes the 19th gun choice if I counted right.
PM45 is nice if you aren't set on a 1911. One of if not thee smallest pocketable .45's, no I don't sell them but I am happy with it.

If any Colt New Agent owners would be so kind as to PM me with their experiences (considering purchase) it would be most appreciated so I don't clog this post with one gun.:D

I've shot the glock 30 and the XD45c and the glock would be better if the mag was flush with the grip. My pinky kept getting pinched between the grip and mag. Plus for me the G30's grip was a hair too short. The XD45c felt like the glock 19 in my hand. Perfect size, no fancy/funky pinky grip shenanigans.

Steve,Can you purchase Armscor 1911 .45s with Armacor written on the slide? Does Armscor have a two tone no? Thank You. Jece.

I'm highly partial to my two Para Ordnance P12*45s. They are excellent 1911 style guns and as the name implies...holds 12 rounds per mag, and dead-on accurate.

The Glock 36. Or, my Detonics CombatMaster. Also, the Smith 457.

I was a little disappointed that the Fourth Gen Glocks will not have a manual safety as I had sold my G36 a few weeks back thinking to replace it with a new one. Today I went and bought back the gun. That's what I think about the G36. Wickedly accurate and reliable, but not for beginners.

I'd go with the Taurus Pt145. Compact size and GREAT performance. 1000+ rounds with no problems. Most people seem to hate Taurus by I've had NO problems with mine.

X2. I am not Taurus fan and the PT145 is the only Taurus I own. Its been 100% reliable and more accurate than I ever expected.

While there are many great choices, I prefer the Colt New Agent or Defender. They feel great, and in part, I think it has to do with the high cut on the front strap...which seems to help me get more of a grip on the pistol. They are light and super concealable.

The Glock 30sf and the 36 are good too if you shoot factory ammo. I had a G36 and it choked on my reloads all the time and when it didn't choke the brass was consistantly dented due to the poorly supported chamber. The same reloads run through my New Agent like a sewing machine (and so does everything else).

I've had Kimbers in the past (all series I) and they were all excellent. Really there are many, many marvelous options. Good luck.

S&W 457 or 4513. If you like heavier hardware, the S&W 4516. Superb compact 45's.
