The most common AR-15 Stock I can find for the Winchester Model 1300 is the ATI, but the comments I have read directed at ATI's products have been rather negative. The stocks are cheap, and I am a firm believer in the old saying "You get what you pay for".

What other companies make high quality AR-15 type stocks for the Winchester? I have heard good things about Mesa tactical or some such. Knoxx seems like a company that produces high quality products, but their AR-15 style stock won't be out until March, and then only for the Remington. Any other companies who produce a good stock of this style that I should know about?

Ummm.... I don't really have any info for you, but this does interest me because I also own a winchester 1300. I have the ATI top folding stock and its ALRIGHT but I would also like to find something new, like an AR type stock. I also own the ati heatshield, mag-clamp, and 5 shot shell holder. The heatsheild often comes loose when shooting, this could be due to my lack of gunsmith skills. The mag clamp broke... lol... but that was just because I tightened it too hard. The side saddle is also flawed, the first 3 shells slide in smooth, then it takes some serious effort to get them in there. Its made of an almost rubber type material and the first three shells bulk so much that it makes the remaining two cavities smaller then a 12ga shell. Ultimately, I think I want to go with a different company for my new stock. I hope I havn't confused you too much, the real reason for my reply is this....

In another post here on THR I saw this pic: http://www.mesatactical.com/images/shot_show_2005_evil_guns.jpg

With this caption:
Some of the guns we had on display at the SHOT Show this year.

The one at the bottom was a Winchester 1300 we called the California Special: Evil-looking as possible, but California legal!

Looks pretty cool... seems like thev'e made at least one for the winny

There have been several threads on THR regarding AR-15 stocks on shotguns.

One of our members manufactured one of the first adapters available and a couple of our other members work for companies that make them also.

A search should bring up several threads and a ton of info.
