Best area for Rifle/Optics Shops in Southern CA...

I am going to go to some shops this weekend but I can only go to one area, I am debating between San Diego, Orange etc... I also would like to go to USO in Brea but I don't know if there are any good rifle shops down there so that trip may be reserved for a later date.

Rifles I am interested in are..

Rem 700, VLS/PSS/LTR

Savage 10FP/HS Precision

FN PBR XP

Basically affordable long range rifles in .308


Please give me what your opinion is on the best rifle/optics area in Southern California!

"Southern California" is often used (erroneously IMO) to mean "LA". Never understood why; they're way north of us down here.

Here's a shop to check out in between Brea and San Diego, in the town of Escondido: http://www.precisionarms.com/

They specialize in long range shooting. Only shop like it I've ever been to, but there's a lot of the world I haven't seen. There's a 600 yard range nearby with a lot of competitions, too. They shoot what they sell.

I've only been there a couple of times, to transfer some AR receivers, but if I ever want a really nice rifle for shooting small things at long distances, or any parts to build one, I'm going there first. Price ranges from affordable LE sniper rifles to "I've gotta have the smallest groups no matter what it costs."
