Went to the Chantilly, VA gun show today with the wife and kids. My wife shocked the everloving stuffing out of me when she looked at one of the rifles and said "This one's $50 off." An opening? Was she going to let me buy something?
I held that hope in my hand and searched until I found the surplus Mosins. With almost no effort I convinced her to let me get one. And a promise to let me get 2 more next year.
But then...
She looked at a new XDm in 9mm, we shopped the tables and found one for $539, and just like that I walked out with 2 guns (one hers of course).
Hey, for me that's a big victory. Usually she gets upset when I pick up a can of surplus ammo.
