"...are a work of art..." The real art work was when Smith did the old style S&W bluing. It was actually a deep, rich, blue as opposed to the black seen now. Bluer than hanno's M15. They almost glowed. Know a guy who has a BAR LMG that was made for the civilian market in the late '20's. Has the S&W bluing(including the mags and bi-pod) and a very high end burly walnut stock. Friggin' thing is absolutely stunning.
