Best price on SOCOM II?

Back in the day (pre 11/4) you could get them for around $1600 + or - $100. Now who knows probably more like $1800-$2000. Might want to check the classifieds over at the M14 Firing Line Forum and put a WTB add. You may just want to just wait it out unless you got money to burn. Even if there is an AWB the M1A probably will not be on the list. You can buy them now in NY and CA and we are still under an AWB. Just my .02.
Impact Guns just raised the price on the SOCOM II and Scout. The SOCOM II with urban camo stock is now $2,112.99. I ordered a Springfield M1A Scout for $1,499 on 11/10 but now it's listed for $1,769. I just emailed them to ask if they're going to honor the prices (magazines too) in my order. If not then I certainly won't be buying a Scout! All of this Obama craziness is just that ... it's going to take at least a year (maybe even two or more) for any gun bills to make it the house/senate and then there's every chance that they won't pass. With this shaky economy and once the hype is over, prices are going to drop FAST!! The only folks making out now are the people selling firearms. It just like all the idiots that ran out and bought a hybrid car for $$$$ over MSRP. Now gas has dropped $1.50/gallon and within a few months you'll be able to buy a hybrid under MSRP saving $$$$$. It's no different than all the home sales in the past three or four years ... so many folks are completely backwards on their homes to the point that they could never get out of them without filing for bankruptcy.

That's a good deal. Eotech is like around 300 - 450 dollars by itself.
