Hello Everyone!
I'm gearing up to purchase either an 1851 Navy or 1858 Remington replica, and I've settled on Uberti as the manufacturer. Does anyone know where to find the best prices on either of these models? Unfortunately, Midway USA is out as they will not ship C+B guns to my state.

Thank for your help!

Hi Manyirons,
I'm in Massachusetts. Here in MA it is perfectly legal to have BP guns shipped directly to residents, but some retailers are skittish to do so because of our anti-RKBA attorney general (and gubernatorial candidate).

What do you want for your 1851?

Thanks!

Vanfunk, I live in MA also and Midway shipped me a revolver last year. Don't tell me they've changed their ways...
Have you ever gone to the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, Maine? Less than an hr north of Boston. Pretty good collection of new and used BP revolvers.
The AG's a pisser, huh?

Hi Pohill,
Yes - I do stop by the Kittery Trading Post whenever I'm heading north. They're kinda wierd on their pricing - I've seen stuff wildly over- and under-valued there frequently. Last year I picked up a mint Winchester Super-X shotgun for $175! Then again I've seen a well-used frankengun AR-15 for $1050:eek: The last time I was there they did have a few lightly used Colt 1851 Navies, although they were Piettas and I'm set on Uberti.

Midway USA refused to ship a C+B revolver to MA when I called last week, so I had my FFL give it a try and he was told that they wouldn't ship to him either! Anyway, looks like Manyirons has me set up. I love this forum!:)

Thanks,
vanfunk
