I have that exact same Tasco BKRD30 on my Neos. They can actually be had for as low as $30 if you really check around. I probably wouldn't trust it for applications with heavier recoil, but on the .22 it seems to hold zero just fine. I would agree though that the Tru-Glo models are probably of better quality, for a slightly higher price. I'm totally happy with the Tasco though.
I've used this $25 BSA for the last 5 or 6 years on my Buckmark. It has a 30mm tube and a relatively small dot, probably 2 or3 MOA that works well for me for bullseye shooting. If I could do my part it would put them in the 10 ring every time.
