I am looking for a good scope with amber viewing for my AR-15 with a top rail. Any good websites to buy it too. Around the $200 range. Thanks...

You specifically need/want a Amber reticle???? Not sure if that is the case. On standard red dots, I've used everything from the very nice to the budget tasco/bsa type red dots. I certainly think the nicer ones are better, but in the case of these scopes you pay a very large premium to move up slightly in practical quality. I liked the EOtechs the best. If I was going into battle and my life depended on the scope I would buy a Aimpoint. I have a Primary Arms Aimpoint Clone (The $79 ones that are sold on AR-15), I like many members have found they are excellent for money. I recently picked up a Vortex Strikefire ($125-150). Have not gotten around to actually shoot with it yet but it looks promising. I think the Aimpoint clone and Stikefire are very nice for the money.

I'm a fan of the Trij RX30. It'll give you everything you're looking for, and it is a quality piece.
Retails for $350+, but a used one could end up around your price range.

Trijicon RX30-14 Reflex Sight

The trijicon's don't need batterys and are always "on" and have no buttons or swtiches but the "dot" is too large for good accuracy at distance (6.5 moa is 6.5" covered up @ 100 yards). (most) All of the others have electronics that runs the batt's dead, can fail completely or are off the split second you need them.

The Trijicon Chevron reticle solves the size issue by making a point for precision, while still having enough width to keep it fast. If you decide to get one of those, the red chevron reticle would be my choice, and red triangle being second. They are tough to find in your price range, but worth what they cost. Occasionally you can find an older reflex cheap on ebay or arfcom.

Everyone advocating Trijicons and non-clone Aimpoints needs to reread the OP. He's looking for something in the $200 range, not 4 times that.

If you want a close combat optic, go with a aimpoint knockoff or a c-more... the tactical model has an integrated BUIS that is cowitnessed to the red-dot.

If you want a "scope" with some magnification that can also double as a CCO, I would recommend a Millet DMS 1-4x. Its not amber, but it does have a very nice illuminated reticle, and tons of eye relief for a 4x scope. A bit over $200 after buying rings and/or bases.
