Best source for kydex AK magazine holders

I'm looking for any kydex mag pouches that will fit AK magazines.

I know that Blade-Tech makes one, but it is pricey. Where is the best place to order Blade-Tech products?

Anybody know of any other companies making anything like that?

You could always make them yourself. kydex isn't all that hard to form.


www.knifekits.com has kydex for as cheap as i've found it online, and they have presses and things, though you'd probably be better off making your own.

Andrew, how hard is it to make your own? I've never really thought of that.

well, I'm just starting out in the craft. The few things i've done were about as complicated as folding wet cardboard. (when kydex is hot, it's a tad hard to control barehanded)

Not that i've found, unfortunately. All of the tutorials i've seen are for knife sheaths.

Mike Horne does magazine carriers (though not for ak magazines). maybe you could email him and ask how he does it.
