A Glock trigger is kind of mushy. That is the way it is designed.
I've had two Brownings, and they've had good triggers. One was an '80s model and has an excellent, crisp trigger, even though the magazine safety is still there. The other is from '94 and is a little gritty. I will admit that the '94 isn't as smooth as a 1911, Beretta, or USP, but it is not bad enough to hurt my shooting.
I think that a crisp trigger is over rated. I shoot better with HiPowers and Glocks than I do with many other models, in spite of the slightly gritty trigger on the one and that awful, spongy trigger on the other. I think that we just like things that feel mechanically "perfect", though it may have no effect.
