I have a Giant Boulder (love that name ) that I've thought of bringing with me to the range in order to check targets (alternatively, I've thought of bringing my 6" Newtonian telescope to use as a spotting scope, but I don't have a right-angle eyepiece for it to correct the sight picture).
It wouldn't be practical for me to ride it to the range, though, as that's about 20-30 miles out of town over some fairly hilly terrain, and even if I were in good enough shape to tackle that, it'd probably take a good part of the day.
