Bicycle For Range or Hunting

I have a Giant Boulder (love that name :neener: ) that I've thought of bringing with me to the range in order to check targets (alternatively, I've thought of bringing my 6" Newtonian telescope to use as a spotting scope, but I don't have a right-angle eyepiece for it to correct the sight picture).

It wouldn't be practical for me to ride it to the range, though, as that's about 20-30 miles out of town over some fairly hilly terrain, and even if I were in good enough shape to tackle that, it'd probably take a good part of the day.

Cosmoline, I think it's great that we've gotten to where we can do a thread with 4 pages on bikes and guns! I'll never be able to do it, but it's fun living vicariously. I plan to get the bike and guns out tomorrow...at separate times.

Duh...I just realized this thread was a year old!

Since this thread I upgraded to a craigslist Kona Hoss. It served me well through the Alaska winter with stud tires on. Very tough frame.
