Mike101 mentioned Arthur Rex Rochelle from Bigiron Barrels a few threads down, and though the moderators might move this, I think it should be posted everywhere that Jules a.k.a. Arthur Rex Rochelle is out and about, which means he's scamming, and probably on this forum, among others. Does anyone have any more info on him?

forget it i remember big iron barrels. yep the guy with the website, then gun brokers yep. Bad news
 
I heard that he was out and suing his wife, and the Sheriffs Dept, and basically going crazy. And he has to fund his ventures, so he'll be scamming someplace, sometime soon. I'll see if I can get more details. It's like that game, Whack a Mole...Whack a Jules.

If this lowlife is out and about then it should give the law a place to start tracking him, especially if he is suing everyone in sight. The man is an IDIOT and a total looser. He will foul up sooner or later. I just hope he does it without involving others.
 
This is not directed at any one individual, but rather the general tone of this thread.

I understand that many people were cheated and lost money to this person, and we all feel empowered to prevent it from happening again to someone else. However, this forum is for the discussion of black powder shooting sports. I don't believe character assassination, in the form of name calling and other such remarks, is appropriate here.

Tell us the facts about your dealings with the man, but please keep the invective to yourself.
 
Yes, this is about black powder shooting, and character assassination is not usually a way to approach any subject, but there are exceptions to every rule, and this is one of those times.
We are dealing with someone that has no scruples about screwing as many people as often as he can, anywhere, anytime. He is an ex-con, a wife-beater...OK, I'll stop "assassinating his character" for the sake of the forum, but there is very little to assassinate.
He used this forum to rip people off in a big way. Emotions run high when you get ripped off in public. This is not a case of, "Well, I paid for some items and the shipping was a little slow." No, it's way beyond that. I say that people shoud shout his name loudly and clearly, so that when he does appear again to rip people off, he will be exposed. It's the only way to stop him. And I can just about guarantee that he has been on this forum recently, under a new name, and he's planting seeds for a future scam. He is wanted in a few states, he has done time for federal crimes involving guns and scams, and he is a bad person.
 
I agree with pohill. If this individual has a tendency toward scaming shooters especially blackpowder shooters and if he is as unscrupulous as he seems, it would be to our advantage to know as much as we can about him.
I am in the middle of buying a rifle from a relative newbie on this forum. I've already sent the money order and now I'm holding my breath until the gun is in my hands. It is a shame how guys like this Jules character can ruin trust.
 
I do alot of buying on Gunbroker , the guy was scamming on Gunbroker too ...it`s made me alot more careful ..these days one can never be to careful . I read the feedback ..and still won`t buy unless the person has a trackrecord of selling more than once or twice .
Customer feedback works ..This probally isn`t the place for it ..but the guy was doing business in this forum when he scammed me .
I won`t say anything else about my dealings with him ..but would like a heads up if someone knows he`s back ..He used many different names on here .
 
I don't have any problem with reporting, in this forum, the facts of a deal gone bad. What I'm asking is that you cease the name calling here. The man may very well be the devil incarnate, but none of us are the second coming.

Presenting the facts is sufficient for me to avoid dealing with the man, which is, after all, what you are trying to achieve. You only diminish yourselves by continuing vilification.
 
That's why we have moderators. I trust their judgement completely. When they say "enough," it will stop. And it might just be at that point.
As far as diminishing myself...not gonna happen.

I'm happy,relieved, and amazed to say that I just received my rifle. Happy and relieved that my faith in mankind has been vindicated. Amazed that the post office got the rifle to me in less than 24 hours.
A 50 cal. T.C. carbine in wonderful condition. I can wait to shoot it!
 
I'll vouch for Articap (Steve). I bought the .457 round ball bullet mould from him and got it yesterday priority mail (unfortunately, my first check never got there and I had to send a second).
 
Gentlemen, I make NO apologies for my previous post here. I have stated what I know to be the truth about this person and stand by what I have said.
Should he wish to include me in his current round of suing everyone then so be it. Might be a big mistake though.
 
I have sent money to a few guys on here never had any problems. Most recent one was BIG BAD GUNS. great work and i trust him with my money.
