Black Panthers, forty years ago

Surprised no one brought up the White Panther Party - a Black Panther sympathizing group (never large in number) whose slogan was "Dope, Guns and ****ing in the Streets."

Their remnants lead the recall against Feinstein after the SF handgun ban.

"It's much easier to rail against your enemies when you've begun attributing motives to them that exist only in your mind."

Yes, it's good to see that you know the sick individuals I know and have discussed this topic in depth... If you're a supporter then I wish I could move them all into your neighborhood. You may then soon change your tune...

love the subtext. "I KNOW. Don't ask me how I know, I KNOW." It's much easier to rail against your enemies when you've begun attributing motives to them that exist only in your mind.
Careful. Just because someone won't tell you how they know, that doesn't mean they don't know. There is no obligation to tell you how they know, and various factors may affect whether they will tell you. To the thread, some people have had dealings with the Black Panthers - and don't want to talk about it to strangers.

We all have things we know, and that we'll tell others we know, but in no way will we recount how we came to that knowledge (painful, embarrassing, [borderline] illegal, etc.).
