Blasted scope mount loose during Action Shoot...

Dang thing...On my SA M1A, the scope mount started loosening up while on the 200 yard range shooting steel plates...should have been easy, but it was all over, and cant tell weather high or low...

Has anyone used Loctite on these mounts(Springfeild Gen 3 sight mount)??

Try pro-lok removable thread locker, its alot softer than traditional threadlockers.

3rd generation Aluminum mount?

Junk, Toss it in the trash. I don't know of anyone who can keep one of those tight for any length of time. Get a brookfield or an arms mount. Mine is a brookfield and I have had zero problems since then.
