According to Buzzfeed (http://www.buzzfeed.com/jacobfischler/dozens-of-mayors-are-quietly-dropping-out-of-bloombergs-gun), over 50 members of MAIG have lost reelection, resigned or asked to be removed from the list of MAIG supporters. At least one Arizona Mayor was forced out of office by his own city council specifically for joining MAIG.

Maybe it was changed within the last two hours but the article was corrected to esplain MAIG is picking up new mayor-members faster than they are resigning. I love the stories about embarrassing failures but the group, and its shadow, is growing.

MAIG's Matt Glaze claimed that they were adding new members faster than they were losing existing members; but he didn't actually offer any proof of that.


Considering the number of former MAIG members who are now convicted felons and their past practices (naming the Boston bombers and cop-killers as "victims of gun violence", signing the name of a dead for a year Mayor to a letter for more gun control), I'm going to need some solid evidence before I give Glaze much credence.

What????? Care to clarify any of that? I know lots of Jews, having been one now for 53 years and living in Israel for about 5 of them. Just what "huge guilt", "ethnicity", and "culture" are you talking about??? Bloomberg doesn't represent "the Jews" any more than Obama represents "the Blacks" or Limbaugh represents "the Whites".

It is just "Mayors Against Guns". Their only gripe is with currently legal guns, not illegal ones. They are FOR illegal guns, AGAINST legal guns... I will be calling them by their proper name.
