I am considering buying a BLR 300 Win Mag and rebarreling it to 416 Ruger. The calibers have the same case heads, same diametere at the start of the case body, and same COL. My questions are: has anyone ever done this? and are there any possible problems with this idea that I am overlooking? Thanks for any input.
