Blued receiver, wood stock, stainless barrel?

Thanks guys I'm gonna keep the barrel white as suggested. I painted it, and immediately wiped it off. It looks good, but looks better I think in the white.
Question now (and I polished all the scratches off.....then scratched it again) is what finish to go with. Current polish, brushed (or scotch brighted), or beadblasted.

I think it looks good now, but probably brushed to. The polish gives it that custom barrel look other then it's big see he'll lol. Maybe we it gets some wear from use you can then brush it then blast of if you don't like it. The scotch brite will give it a matte gray color, that should look good with wood.

For a hunting rifle I think the matt or blasted look would be better so you are not being so careful to not scratch it, I have a 700 BDL CD from the 70s that I don't like to take to the woods because of the polish. I like the look of a stainless barrel, I have a couple of ARs with them and black furniture, but I like the wood on bolt guns

Good looking rifle. If it is primarily a target rifle I would leave it like it is, but if it is a hunting rifle I would duracoat the barrel black. When I'm in the woods I wear full length camo including facemask and gloves and a white barrel will stand out big time. The birds won't leave you alone if you keep the white barrel, and when the birds know you're there everything knows you're there.

Won't be a hunting gun, can't legally hunt anything with it here. Ive got other .22s, and the stock barrels also if I need to press it into service for removing pigs from peoples yards, or a trap.

I like it as is. I liked the first brake in black, but the second one might look out of place that way.
If you want a different finish than how it looks in the pictures, go brushed. I just like brushed over blasted, and it's easy to do yourself and remove mild scratches from.

So polished/polished appears to be where it's gonna stay for now.
Thank you all for the compliments, sharing your thoughts, and help deciding!
If I can get the yard done today, I'm for sure taking it up tomorrow to run some rounds thru it. I really like the way it handles and it's really stable off the pod, so here's hoping it shoots well.....wish I could get some better ammo, but wish in one hand....
