Thankshuntinfool. I sure will. I can't help you with advice as there people on here much more knowledgable than me. But good luck.

Okay, I'm sorry, but you can call me skeptical as well. I was going to let it go, but you've kind of dug your heels in on this one.

Dug my heels in? Say what? I was just discussing the possibility it might be true that the guy shot a .5" group at 500 yards. I plainly said it would be totally a matter of luck to do that. I think I said I shot one group that was an inch at 500 yards but keep in mind that's out of hundreds if not thousands of tries. And I know for a fact it was dumb luck to ever get that kind of a group.

What I said for sure was that some rifles do shoot pretty tight groups at 500 yards. 4"-5" groups are not that uncommon and are even the norm for a really good rifle with the right ammo and wind conditions being just right etc.. That's a long way from saying that a .5" is common. I never said that.

Besides all that I just posted a view of a screen capture from a video to show that the shooter in that video was shooting a pretty tight group. At least it looked that way to me. Someone said they couldn't see that on the video so I used the software I have to show the target the best I could get it. It wasn't all that good either and dang sure wasn't set in stone.

I was not digging in at all. I was just talking about it and saying that people shouldn't be so quick to jump on each other. Sorry if I offended you in some way although I can't imagine what it would be. That's kinda typical really of people who want to make everything some fight to the death over a single point. I wasn't doing that. I was just talking about it and saying not to be so quick to throw people under the bus. And for my trouble I got thrown under the bus it seems. Believe what you want. I'm not challenging you to a battle of wills and an endless debate. I thought it was a friendly conversation.

Ceezee I think he was talking to me when he said that ( your digging your hills in) at least that's how I took it as directed at me. I agree I also never said that I can do this on command.

CeeZee, I think of it as getting old and memory fading, and a little too cranky.
