bore guide

I am currently using a stoney point 25 to 30 caliber on my 257 weatherby
I feel id is mostly made for non magnum cartridges.Should I get another bore guide or will this one be ok.Does anyone know how to get the lucas bore guide

Any bore guide (with proper fitment/diameter) should be fine. All it does is prevent the cleaning rod from bumping the corner of the chamber.

my concern isI bought it from22 to 28 caliber.I'm just wondering does it contact the chamber where the weatherby radias shoulder is

Good question...don't rightly know...darn Weatherby, had to make everything complicated didn't ya'?

I just recieved it today .Wow its a nice bore guide .He asked for cleaning rod size so its exactly size of my rod. Plud its made to chamber
