Bore Stores in safe

I bought my first gun safe today. It seems a lot more people these days who don't understand what a no trespassing signs up at the road means. I always stored all my firearms in Bore Stores in a locked closet and I placed my rifles and pistols in the safe still in them. I can't can't think of anything detrimental in doing this but would like to hear about it if there of any.

If you have them it will not hurt to use them in your safe. Before I fixed my storage problem I used them them to play tetris in my small safe. Get yourself a golden rod to use in the safe for humidity control as well...

I have been using BoreStores for decades. I have never had a single problem.

I don't use Borestores, but do use silicon treated gunsocks. I have had good luck with them.

I can't can't think of anything detrimental in doing this but would like to hear about it if there of any.

Technology has moved on and there are much better products.

Concur with HSO completely.

I use the Zerust bags for all my rifles and all of my barrels have Zerust wicks.

For the minimal cost, its absolutely a no brainer. You can see the wicks sticking out of the barrels in any of the recent pictures I have posted. Buy 100 feet of wick and you're probably set for a while.
