Gotta ask though - does S&W make routine appearances at these types of events, or did they do that just because of proximity?

Yes, SnW does show up for such things. Boston PD is the biggest PD in the region, which = $$$$ if BPD was to chose the MnP next time they equip the PD.

I qualified at Moon Island for a LTC a several years back. Scored 278 with a Ruger Service Six which was the first handgun I'd ever shot. Isn't the FD training ground out there, too? I thought I remembered a sign at the fork in the road just before you get to PD facility.

Hope you guys succeed in discouraging Cadillac Deval from raising the license price from $100 to $200 so more mass people can also enjoy shooting sports.

It must be difficult to be a pro-IIA cop in BPD with a boss that's hell bent on disarming the lawful public for the sins of its criminals.

Why won't Menino understand that only peaceable citizens respect disarmament laws? Criminals will continue to do as they have because they don't abide by societies legal rules. An gun control is doing alot for crime in DC, Chicago, and Baltimore, isn't it? Well, he doesn't care. He has guards to protect against befalling victim to personal violence. To hell with the rest of us.

I love my Red Sox and especially loved living in JP and working in Back Bay but stuff like this is a grim reminder of why I left.
