I'm watching the Evil Dead Trilogy; Bruce Campbell and his "groovy" shotgun and chainsaw appendage. :D Whatever else, nobody in any other movie has been so attached to his weapon!

My All-Time Favorite Gun Movie...

The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Chock-full of great lines:

Josey: Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms.

=-=

Josey: Whenever I get to liking someone, they ain't around long.

The Chief: I noticed when you get to disliking someone, they ain't around for long neither.

=-=

Josey: You a bounty hunter?

Bounty Hunter: A man's gotta do something for a living.

Josey: Dying ain't much of a livin', boy.

=-=

Josey: When things look bad, and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb mad dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up, then you neither live nor win, that's just the way it is.

=-=

Josey: Are you gonna pull those pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Gonna get "The Professional" on DVD this weekend.

Already have it on VHS, but the darned tape is almost worn out. :D

Maybe the best exchange in cinema history, IMHO.

Movie???

My son got me a DVD for Christmas, Spaceballs . I used to like Mel Brooks, but I had never seen this one. It has more throw-away zingers than most of his stuff. Obviously the man is sick, but he has made some very funny movies. Oh yes, it had guns in it. Combs, too.

The Ghost and the Darkness Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas....Too bad Douglas never picked up any traits from the charactor he portrayed in that movie

EQUILIBRIUM. One of the most unadvertised new movies to come down the pike. Well worth the price of admission.

"You are treading on my dreams, Alex."

The original Death Wish, not the lame sequels.

Enemy At The Gates, a WWII sniper duel.

Ronin, which also gets the Best Car Chase award.

Since no such list would be complete without a John Wayne film, I choose The War Wagon.

Preacherman

Hey is that the first link back to a TFL thread?

Read thru them again and they are good for laughs. It's nice to see that so many of us can agree that WHEN THE STINKING DEAD ZOMBIES attack, we will all stand together and mow them down.:D

By the way- is there a better enemy out there than zombies? OK, maybe insects mutated by atomic blasts or "Alien" type aliens, but for pure homegrown fun I'd have to say zombies are best.;)

Don't you think?

I mean, unlike Nazi's where you have to worry: "Are they just regular guys following orders" or "Don't they have parents and children too". None of that BS with the UNDEAD. Wack em and move on.

No, you're right. Zombies make the best cannon fodder. Unlike their other undead brethren the vampires, zombies don't have the charismatic personality. Just blow their head off and aim for the next closest.

ROTFL:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Really, you have to think twice about blasting Bela or one of the others- but a smelly, half decayed guy with human entrails hanging out of his mouth and headed in your direction- and moving slowly?

They are real, aren't they?
