Hi everyone,

Bought an At-One for my Savage 111 Trophy Hunter XP. There isn't a mechanism to attach the magazine with on it...am I missing some sort of plastic floorplate or something? I have two emails into customer service and haven't heard anything in two days. Finally got ahold of them by phone this morning, sent in the pic below, haven't heard back from that either. As long as they eventually take care of it, that's cool, just wondering if this stock will eventually work for me or if I need to look elsewhere.

Thanks!

Dustin

I replaced my Savage 11 Stock with a Boyd's laminate. I needed a bottom metal from Savage (at the time the customer service number was 1-800-370-0708). They can search the proper part number from your serial number. I also replaced the trigger guard with a Savage supplied metal one, and also replaced the magazine bottom with a metal one. Delivery was quick (several days), but the bottom metal was expensive ($120). I was very happy with the finished product...wooden stock with all metal.

You get bottom metal from Savage if your original has plastic or moulded in guard, mag well, etc.

Your model 111 is the same as my older 11 with a blind mag i take it?

As stated youll either need to buy the floor plate bottom metal, or more likely the detachable box magaine bottom metal. Im not sure if the inletting is the same for both so you will need to know which your STOCK is designed to take.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Turns out if you go to other stocks Boyd's has (Pro varmint, etc) there is a note saying "if you have a synthetic stock Trophy Hunter XP you have you buy bottom metal from savage". What they DON'T do is bother saying that in the At-One area, which is the only area I really shopped in.

...So, yeah, I should've known better, but I also feel like Boyd's could've done a better job at being transparent.
