BP pistols in Washington state

hi everyone, im looking at buying an 1858, in washington state. My understanding is that it needs to go through an ffl, however ive been informed that thats no longer true. Ive been through all of the codes i can find on guns and antique guns, and cant find anything requiring a background check for pistols. Also, Cabelas no longer posts website restrictions on shipping to washington, so is there anyone who know the rcw covering this? I will probably just buy it in a store anyway, but would like to know. For those outside of washington, we passed a requirement for a background check law for BP pistols some time ago, but i hear its been overturned, thanks

You can buy the 1858 Remington. No problem.

No FFL required, I've bought 3 black powder firearms since I moved back here to WA
