Brady Campaign "takes their blog and goes home"

It's fun to debate these types in open forums. On Digg you'll occassionally see a newbie who will come in and start posting anti-gun links and articles. When rational discussion and logic breaks out they usually can't take it and end up leaving or start posting on other topics.

"What is the Brady Campaign membership like? How many members do they currently have?"

It's hard to get a straight answer from them. About anything.

They won't say. Somewhere I heard it was around 50k (vs. the NRA's 4 million) but can't remember where I got that or what evidence they had to back that up.

Wow, I didn't read it all but from the little bit I read, what is with the "anti-gun" folks attacking everyone that has a valid debate? Instead of debating their point of view all they seem to do is either mock you and pick at your typo's. Aka-Kelli. If you don't have a valid argument or point to make, don't say anything. You're just making yourself and the rest of the BC look like fools .

Its one thing to leftist or anti-gun, but don't you think it would give them pause that they have to lie all time to make their points?

I think that that would require a little more introspection and intellectual honesty than they actually possess.

"A lie is really only a white lie, if it's for the children..." ;)

I love Kelli's posts. You have to give her credit...because I don't think she has ever directly answered a question posted to her. Certainly not one that required a factual response. Thousands of blabbering insulting posts and NOTHING factual or substantive. :neener:

The bottom line is this; the Brady's don't want the potential readers of that blog reading all of our logical, factual, well thought out post's. Most of our post's, the pro-gun side has posted many links to websites that back up our position through facts and solid, rational thought. The Brady's DON'T want the readers to see this, as it destroys their position. The Brady Blog has become a huge negative, when they are trying to recruit new members, we just blatantly expose their lies and who they really are.:D

They will probably moderate posts and have to approve of them, wouldn't be surprised if logical posts that challenge them aren't shown to make it appears as if the gun owners are insane or don't have a debate to challenge them. Nothing more than censorship on Bradys part.

If you think the Brady Bunch are biased and ignore reason, check out the Gun Guys.

It was an obvious red flag right from the get go that they didn't allow comments.

Now, it looks like trackback/pingback comments are still enabled. How can we use that to get our 'reasoned discourse' on the blog entry's page?
