I have been looking for a Brake/Compensator for my 7.62 bolt and was wondering about the correlation between the size of the holes and the perceived volume.
Do larger holes equate to more noise and blast for those standing near and smaller holes for less blast?
I'm leaning towards a linear comp but was wondering how a bird cage (battlecomp type) with very small holes would compare.
I am looking primarily for noise reduction(to the shooter/partner) and recoil/muzzle flip control in that order.
P.S. I'm in Cali so a suppressor is out of the question, pity as it is the solution.
Thanks
