Brand new (to me) Gen 4 G 17, need input on a trigger job

So the title basically states the question. I have a new to me glock 17 GEN 4 and I really hate the trigger in it, its pretty terrible, worse than my gen 3 29. I need input on trigger jobs, I have read about the 25c trigger jobs and also read this will cause my glock trigger to become mushy after a few thousand rounds. I have done a bit of connector research, but not really sure what parts to go with.

I'm willing to spend about 75$ and can do all the work myself, I just am confused on what needs to be done on a G4 (especially with overtravel)

Well, bit the bullet and bullet and ordered a vanek custom classic trigger kit. Hope I like it!
