BRASS QUESTION!!

One note, you will need to do something to new brass so it doesn’t gall your sizing die. Dry tumble it is what I do. Or if ya ain’t got a tumbler, you can put some tumbling media or a bit of graphite or mica dust in a ziploc bag with the brass, shake it to coat it. You can buy walnut lizard bedding at the pet store and use it.

Or you could spritz the cases with hornady one shot case lube in a ziploc bag and coat them.

I've never trimmed pistol brass but feel that it's possible these might need a trim to get consistent length.

I don't trim pistol brass but the 350 Legend brass is a straight walled brass that is loaded about like pistol brass & it needs to be trimmed about every three shooting. So pistol brass may need to be checked to see if it is getting longer.

I sized all 100 pcs and checked them for trim against what the SAMMI sheet said and they all passed. I also belled them so now I am ready for powder and bullet. I have two snub nose 38 specials, one charter arms and one S&W featherweight, can't to take them to the range. I load for the boom and not for accuracy, if I hit the 6" ring at 25 yards I am satisfied. Too old to care. Don't plan on having a shootout anyway but if I do I won't be using a 38, I have other guns to do the job.
