I reload (among other reasons) as a relaxing and creative hobby. I take my time with it. But if the equipment slows me down too much, it becomes frustrating instead of relaxing. A good turret press is probably right at the transition point for pistol ammo.
Also, shooting my .45 wouldn't be much fun if I knew it was costing me about $1 per shot (and currently about 60¢ per .357 Magnum.) I can reload each of 'em for about a nickel per. That makes a big difference in my attitude when I go to the range.
