I took my dog out for some training time on birds, and just dumped my colt pocketlite into my pocket. For whatever reason I took the colt out of my pocket, and found that the trigger flopping all over the place. Something is broken. Strange feeling being out in the woods without a working gun.

Not knowing which model you have I do know some of the Pony Pocketlights are known for pins to back out.

I used to own a Pony Pocketlite. Please note the use of the past tense.
Good luck.

How many models can there be? I thought Colt only made the Pony for about three years. Am I wrong ... again? That's too many for so early in the year :(

The original poster did not state that it was a "Pony" (DOA). It may just be a standard Mustang Pocketlite that was made for many years.

If you find out what is wrong with it, chances are Brownell's will have the part for it. I noticed in their newest catalog that they have just about everything, including slides for them. I'd been tempted on getting a stainless slide for my Mustang Pocketlite (not a Pony) to have a two-tone Mustang.....Just can't bring myself to spend $160+ for another slide.......I think it would look cool, though. :D
