I picked up a Kahr T9 yesterday. I intend to use it as a carry gun during the warm weather months here in Florida.
Why did I go with the T9? I feel the Mk9 is too heavy for pocket carry but too small for a belt gun.
The K9 is nice but the T9 isnt much bigger, doesnt weight much more, comes with Night Sights and nice wood grips. Plus I like the longer sight radius. So why not buy the T9 and use it as a belt.
Outside impression.
Nice wood grips, GREAT feeling gun. Finish is great as is fit.
The Novak night sights are properly fitted and bright. Not as big as I thought it would be. In fact its a pretty small gun.
I was pretty impressed.
Then I shot it.
WOW nice shooting little piece. I kept all 50 rounds in the 9 and 10 rings and managed to shoot some pretty darn tight groups at 7 and 15 yards.
I need to spend more time getting used to trigger and I sure I will be able to do even better.
The recoil is very low.
My new carry rotation is going to be:
5 inch 1911(Rarely)
Kahr T9(Mostly)
Colt Mustang Pocketlite(Hey sometimes mouse guns make the most sense.)
