Broken SKS Hammer

The hammer on my SKS broke I was thinking about getting a new hammer from Murray's or APEX or buying an entire trigger group from keep shooting. I want a good quality hammer that will last. What should I do? Do you have any other suggestions? What is the quality of the warranty/customer service that these or other companies have on their products?

Wow, never heard of that happening, not that it can't or hasn't. Was there obvious damage,corrosion/defect where it broke?

I'd probably get in touch with Murray's. He can probably replace the hammer and do a trigger job for you as well. Edit: Maybe it is Kivarri(sp) that I'm thinking of. I think Murray's does the bolt work last I checked.

Last I knew Murray sells USA made hammer, trigger and sear, for three compliance parts, and will do the work for you. Would definitely be my first choice.

Buying another milsurp assembly would be my last choice, SKS parts can vary a lot and there's no guarantee that a new one will fit your rifle.
