brought a friend to the range today

I just brough a friend of mine shooting for the second time. The first time it was raining I couldn't calibrate the scope on the .22 rifle and the sks had unpleasant recoil. Today was much better. She got to try a S&W .22 , P99 and WASR-10. According to her the recoil on the P99 was too big, the WASR-10 was too heavy, but the .22 was just right We had fun and she put most shots on target at 25 ft.

As a side note.......I cannot tell for sure from the pictures, but it looks like she has both her thumbs going around the back of the pistol. You really have to break her out of that as it will lead to a chewed up thumb and web of her support hand sooner or later........assuming that is what I'm seeing.
