Brownells BCG

i couldn't say as i really don't have a lot of personal experience with any of them but righttobear.com has standard ones for $85 and all the plated ones for $135 or so. i've bought a few of them lately just don't have high round counts on them. they are super friggin slick for sure

I have used them

Built two rifles with them. One had a suspected cam pin issue after 1500 rounds, Brownell's replaced it after one E mail message.
I have them matched with Criterium barrels, head space is good, no brass issues.

I have used them on several builds both the Standard BCG and the Nitrided with no issues at all.

Hey earplug, what kind of cam pin issue did you have?

Just my .02,

Anyone have any experience with Brownells BCG? It's the standard one with chromed linings. http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts...14-159980.aspx

Seems like a good deal at $140 (on sale for $130 at the moment). Anyone know who makes them and if so, are they a company known for quality? Any other standard BCG I should take a look at?

How is that a better deal than the PSA ones you can usually get for $80-$100?

I was going to suggest this one, but they are currently sold out.

Buddy has one and loves it.

However, there is one other place I hate to put up on here in fear they will sell out before I order a couple end of next week.........................

I think those are a heck of a good deal.

Big fan of Fail Zero, but I would only get this if those above were sold out, due to their pricing has not caught up with others.

They are coated by the same company as those from AIM.

All the BCGs I now purchase are M-16, shrouded firing pin, and have the Nickle Boron finish treatment.

I have one of my rifles using a Brownells that i bought when they were on a pre stock sale for $89. Runs just fine however for the money i would check out Aim ni boron offerings...i have about every one of theirs from $99. To $129 and have yet to have a failure with any of them, easy cleanup and smooth operation.

Brownell's has done me right and then some. Their branded parts are definitely full mil-spec quality, on par with Colt. Not only that, but they have a 100% money back guarantee, and they really mean it. I would never hesitate to buy something from them.

Thanks for all the info. I have a few shopping carts ready to go and whichever one shows another part I need as in stock will determine which BCG gets ordered.
Thanks.
