I have a Browning Short action 22-250 that is hard to extract....

The rifle got to be hard to open and close and after firing extremely hard to open. Took it apart and cleaned a burr from the bolt head and now it cycles nice, except when fired it is really hard to open.

Doesn't appear to be that difficult to work on although retiming can be a little trying at times.

Extractor spring doesn't appear to be a strong as recommend and could be part of the problem.

I am a rookie gunsmith, 1st one of these that have crossed my bench, any of you veterans out there that have had similiar experiences and would like to share your knowledge, it would be appreciated. Thanks
