Browning BPS

I have a Browning BPS that I bought new about 12 years ago.
I have noticed that the new BPS's no longer have the engraved receiver.
Does anybody know off hand how what years the BPS was made with the engraved receiver and if they have a higher market value?

None of my reference books make note of the engraving. However, does your BPS have the Invicta interchangeable chokes, or not?

Yes it does have the invector tubes.
I just pulled the manual out that came with the gun and it does not have the engraving in the book either.

There's no value difference between the plain and the "engraved" receivers. Some prefer the plain metal since there's less surface for rust to grab hold.

I have one of the engraved BPSs that my wife bought for me as a christmas gift in 89 or 90 and a deer/turkey special in 93 that has turkeys engraved on one side and deer on the other....The engraving does not add to the value of the gun...but some folks do prefer one over the other.
