+1 on that. I use one with my Buck Mark Hunter and love it. You can burn through ammo far more quickly with one of those and a single 10-round magazine than you ever could with a high-capacity magazine loading one round at a time. I actually have several 10-round mags for my Buck Mark, but I tend to only use one of them to force myself to slow down and make a box of ammo last a bit longer!
I've never understood though why .22 magazine capacity is typically limited to 10 rounds though. Are there any double-stack .22 magazine designs, or would that configuration be too prone to jams with the .22LR cartridge? Is there a legal precedent for the 10-rounders?
My understanding is that the rimmed nature of the cartridge, and the resultant geometry, makes long mags that do not curve something of a technical challenge.
I got one of those (http://www.mcfaden.com/cliploader.html) for my MK3 ruger and it is super fast to reload the mag. Just have to dial it in a bit more to work perfect.
